How Long Does Auto Exotica Paint Protection Last?
Auto Exotica Destiny: is our 3-5 year coating product available for DIY use,
Professionally, we will install Auto Exotica Infinity which is our 10 year product with warranty.
All paint protection film is sold with an 8 year advised lifespan and warranty.
Durations are subject to regularity of cleaning, maintenance, use of car and parking location
What Does Ceramic Coating Protect Against?
Whilst a ceramic coat may protect from some glancing blows, Ceramic coatings are a thin layer that generally won't protect against high impacts - they will however protect against:
Chemical attack
Dirt and Grime
Light swirls
Bug and Bird splatter
Chemical Fallout, Acidic Rain
Are scratches and swirl marks removed from my car's paint as part of the package?
Absolutely! Our packages include paint correction - to save on unforseen extra costs as far as possible. Deep or extensive scratches will need to be quote d seperately but you can expect most superficial scratches and swirl marks to be taken care of as part of your protection pacakge. Packages including Paint Protection Film will have less extensive correction unless required due to the masking effect PPF has on swirl marks.
Do you have same-day appointments?
Generally we require 5 days' notice, but we do operate a waitlist and can on rare occasions fit urgent jobs in at short notice - it's worth asking!
What are your hours of operation?
We operate Monday to Sunday on a 'by appointment' basis.
How long do we need the car for?
It can vary - on a new car turnaround time can be in 24-48 hours. On a car that needs more extensive preparation, expect 3 days (eg drop off Monday AM, collect Wednesday) and on cars requiring protection film and more it can be up to a week depending on the extent of work being performed.
What will protection film protect against?
PPF Will protect against most debris born chuips and scratches to your paintwork. It is a high gloss sacraficial layer of plastic applied to your car that can save your paint from supermarket dings, scuffs and stone chips.
